Hey there guys! Welcome to my fundraising page, glad you came by :)
By August next year, I intend to be scaling Kilimanjaro (if I can get fit enough in the first place!) and I need your help in raising over 3000 pounds. The following year is going to be an intense personal journey for me, as I embark on my first adventure as a fully fledged, independent adult(So I've been told).
My short but exciting time at the LSE so far has invigorated my passion for helping others, and hope for children is a cause I completely support. I thoroughly appreciate the quality of life I am lucky to experience, and understand that this is not the norm for countless children across the globe. Tomorrow's generation of scholars, artists and innovators are realising their potential thanks to charities such as hope for children, and this feels me with optimism in an otherwise rather bleak world.
I also have personal motivations for starting this behemoth task, all generally revolving around challenging myself to become a better person. My moral compass could use a good kick, and this seems like an amazing start! Physically, conquering a task like this would be incredibly satisfying, and training will also improve my health dramatically/
Overall, this year long experience is not only helping the children helped by hope for children, but my own physical and spiritual 'trek' through late adolescence. Thank you so much for any donations, and I'm dreadfully sorry for the pun. :)
