My name is Jonas Bokelmann, and I am part of a team at LSE to raise money for the nonprofit charity organisation Hope For Children. As you can see, my fundraising target is quite ambitious!
In summer 2019, I will be hiking up Kilimanjaro together with the other participants of this fundraising challenge. That adventure marks the end of months of fundraising for Hope for Children. And as it says above, the goal is nothing less than 3380£! This project combines two adventures into one, by not only inviting me to have an amazing trip, but also by challenging me to fundraise almost three and a half thousand pounds. That's why every donation is appreciated!
The organisation Hope for Children does incredible work to help vulnerable children around the world, and receives approximately 30% of their entire budget from challenges such as this. That's why I am super excited to have taken on this project. I already have plans for a few events and actions throughout the year to collect donations and raise money, ranging anywhere from grand charity balls to street collections, but every single instance of help you can give will be appreciated not only by me, but also by all those that Hope for Children helps.
So in that spirit, thank you so much for any and all donations! Spread the word, and thanks for helping me to reach my target and for helping Hope for Children make a difference in the world!
